Project Description: Drawing influence from the leftfield, future-leaning side of hip-hop, nu jazz and broken beat, HELIOS RAY provides the tools to deviate from the mainstream – a stunning array of crunchy analog drums and Latin percussion, jazz guitar, vintage Rhodes licks, and custom MASSIVE presets. This MASCHINE Expansion brings LA’s tripped-out abstract beats and the loose, soulful vibe of London’s innovative broken beat scene to MASCHINE and MASCHINE MIKRO.
